In November, Grade 8 students and families visited their future secondary schools for the first round of school-based sessions. HWDSB also hosted a system-wide ‘Getting Ready for High School’ virtual information session that shared details about the progression to Grade 9. In January and February of 2024, Grade 8 students and families are invited back to their future secondary schools for an important follow-up session. This time, school staff will be sharing details about option sheets and the course selection process that begins in February.
