Grade 7 and 8 students and families are invited to visit their future secondary schools and learn more about HWDSB programs at upcoming Grade 7 & 8 Information Nights!
This important event series is a combination of school and system-based sessions. School sessions listed below take place at secondary schools, and will focus on programming and activities at the specific locations. Students and families can also attend information nights for specialty programs, which begin in late November 2024.
Students and families were invited to learn about life in secondary school by attending the Getting Ready for High School Virtual Information Session on October 23, 2024. Viewers learned about what to expect in Grade 9, including information about course selection timelines, Ontario Secondary School Diploma requirements and more. Click here to watch a recording!

The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is open to students starting in Grade 11. IB does not offer Grade 9 entry, but Grade 7 and 8 students and families are still invited to learn more.
