Register and Volunteer for Prom Project Hamilton 2022

After a two-year hiatus, Prom Project Hamilton is finally returning! Here are the details:

Prom Project Lite
Saturday, May 7, 2022
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School
(1715 Main St E, Hamilton, ON L8H 1E3)

Prom Project Lite will be a “pop-up shop” style event that provides students from across Hamilton the opportunity to pick out formal wear for proms, graduations, banquets, and other special events, free of charge. The new, gently-used, upcycled, and vintage formal wear available to students can be fit to form by an on-site alterations team. Make-up and hair services will not be offered at this year’s event. Additional outfits will be made available with the donation of $20 per outfit to Prom Project Hamilton.

Students must register for an appointment time and provide the name of their guest, if applicable. There’s a limit of ONE guest per student. Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. The 9-10 a.m. slot is already fully booked, so be sure to act fast before more opportunities close! Student can also consider booking an afternoon appointment to avoid busier time slots.

Walk-ins WILL NOT be accepted this year. Click here to register for an appointment!

Prom Project Hamilton is also seeking volunteers to act as personal shoppers, change room attendants, inventory coordinators, and seamstresses/tailors. Whether you sign up for one shift or multiple shifts, you will help give a student a day they will not forget! Visit the Prom Project Lite website to learn more and register as a volunteer.

Please note: Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and not currently registered as an elementary/secondary student.
