Register for GROW STEM Engineering Conference 2022

grow stem flyerGROW STEM (Girls Rising to Opportunities Within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is back with another exciting virtual conference!

On Saturday, March 19, 2022, in partnership with Scotiabank, GROW STEM will explore different engineering disciplines and their technical skills in an event for female-identifying and non-binary secondary students. 

The world is rapidly changing and evolving around us, with STEM jobs and industries becoming more and more diverse. Ancaster High graduates Leanne Tran and Michelle Luu have looked to build off this momentum through GROW STEM. To learn more about the initiative, read our December 2020 profile.

About GROW STEM Engineering Conference 2022

GROW STEM Engineering Conference 2022 will feature an interactive workshop, panel discussions, and more! Participants will have opportunities to interact with women currently working in related fields. Professionals from a range of backgrounds in electrical and computer engineering as well as aerospace and space system design engineering will be in attendance.

Attendees can also participate in a Computer Assisted Design (CAD) Challenge hosted by McMaster’s Woman in Engineering (WiE) Society where they can learn how to design digital 3D model of images.  

Interested female-identifying and non-binary secondary students are encouraged to register for this upcoming event before Friday, March 18, 2022 at 9 p.m.
