CHANGE the Way Student Conference
Communications and engagement staff supported students at Dundas Valley Secondary School as they coordinated and executed the CHANGE the Way – Collaborative Humanities and New Goals Expo. They shared their passion and learning about human rights, equity and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by creating a conference held on January 10, 2019. It attracted more than 600 students from HWDSB, other Ontario school boards and from as far away as New Zealand. The Communications and Community Engagement team worked with the students and supported the outcomes of the successful event.
