Strategic Plan Survey

It is time for HWDSB to set new Strategic Directions that will identify future values, priorities and goals. Planning a new path forward starts with you!

We are interested in you and your experience, including how it feels to be a part of the HWDSB community, the future you envision for the school board, and anything else you would like to share with us.

To ensure we have a wide range of perspectives involved in this process, we are inviting community members to fill out the Strategic Plan Survey.

The last day to complete the survey is Friday, June 2, 2023. We welcome students, staff, families, and community members to share their valuable input and perspectives! We also encourage you to share the survey with your children if you consent for them to participate.

Director’s Corner

Director’s Corner is an initiative where HWDSB students have the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings about life at HWDSB to the Director of Education, Sheryl Robinson Petrazzini.

The inspiration for Director’s Corner comes from the popular 1990s show ‘Speaker’s Corner,’ where people on the streets of Toronto were able to share their burning thoughts in the iconic booth.

This May, we visited Guy B. Brown Elementary School and Sherwood Secondary School to ask students about their individual experiences at HWDSB to be shared with the director. We asked students three questions from the Strategic Plan Survey, which are: Can you describe this school year in three words? What are two things about school that are important to you? Why? In a perfect world, how would it feel to be a part of HWDSB?

Community Pop-Ups
