Frank Panabaker Construction Update

Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,

As the start of the 2019-20 school year approaches, we want to provide you with an update on the addition and renovations at Frank Panabaker Elementary School. We are happy to share that many of the planned updates are complete or nearing completion.

Completed work includes four new Full-Day Kindergarten and three classroom addition, as well as renovations to the art, music, science, Learning Commons and gym.

We are happy to let you know that all areas of the school will be available for use as of September 3rd, however, there will be some continued construction to complete final touches. These include:

• The new Fessenden walkway is complete, with temporary fencing installed until the permanent fencing can be installed.
• Asphalt will be completed in the front of the school and parking lot, including the Full-Day Kindergarten play area. The Full-Day Kindergarten play area will have temporary fencing installed until the permanent fence is installed.
• Millwork installation will be ongoing, as well as countertops and sinks. This means some teacher sinks will not be installed until countertops are received and installed.
• The cubbies in the Full-Day Kindergarten rooms are also delayed and will not be installed. There will be temporary tote bins available in the rooms to use in the interim.
• The whiteboards will be installed in all rooms.
• Projectors and wifi access points are scheduled to be installed this weekend, however, may lead into next week.

We are all excited that the renovations are almost complete and are looking forward to welcoming everyone and starting the 2019-20 school year. Any further updates will be posted on our school website.
