Update to Important Letter – New Elementary School at Summit Park
Further to the letter that was posted on our school site on Friday, November 16, we would like to provide more clarification around the potential of a second elementary school in the Binbrook area.
The Binbrook Second School Site Map outlines the following:
- Second elementary school in Binbrook
- HWDSB will purchase the site with educational development charge funds when the site becomes available
- Concurrently, HWDSB will apply to Ministry of Education for Capital funds to construct the school
