Participate in McMaster University Survey on School Food Programs

McMaster University researchers and the Coalition for Healthy School Food are inviting HWDSB families to participate in a survey on school food programs to hear perspectives on what an ideal Canada-wide school food program could look like. The survey is open to families of students Kindergarten to Grade 8.

The Coalition for Healthy School Food logoThe survey supports the federal government’s plan to roll out Canada’s first-ever national school food policy in an effort to increase access to nutritious meals for children on campuses across the country.

The aim of the survey is to gain an understanding of culturally appropriate foods that would reflect families’ identities and traditions, and to hear thoughts on the delivery of school food programs.

Complete the Survey

The survey will ask about school food programs and what you would like to see in a future national school food program. The survey also asks about your family background and your household’s food access.

Links to the survey are included at the bottom of this page.
