HSR Service Update
Yesterday, November 16, 2023, the City of Hamilton and ATU Local 107 reached a tentative agreement, ending the strike action that began last Thursday, November 8. Please see the announcement from the City here.
We are pleased to see HSR services resuming after the tentative agreement between The City and ATU Local 107 was reached.
With HSR services now restored, Hamilton-Wenworth Transporation Services (HWSTS) will be suspending all contingency transit routes. From Monday, November 20, students will be able to access their regularly scheduled HSR services to travel to and from schools.
We thank HWSTS for their hard work in quickly implementing contingency transit routes for HWDSB students who rely on the HSR to get to and from schools, and to HWDSB students, staff and families for their patience and understanding this past week.
