Developmental Services Ontario Virtual Information Night

Children’s services, such as Special Services at Home, Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities, or services through the Ontario Autism Program, come to an end. People must apply to Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) to see if they are eligible for adult developmental services.

On April 18 at 6:30 p.m., HWDSB is hosting a virtual information session for students and families about DSO. The following link can be used to join the MS Teams session:

A Service Navigator and Intake Coordinator from DSO Hamilton/Halton will share information about:

  • what DSO does
  • the available services
  • transitioning from children’s services to adult services
  • when and how to apply for adult developmental services
  • what can be expected at age 18, if
  • eligible for adult developmental services and supports
  • and will answer any questions that you may have!
