Student Well-being, School Safety and Violence Prevention
This PA Day will meet Ministry of Education requirements regarding the required PA Day on Student Well-being, School Safety and Violence Prevention. The following topics will be covered: Student mental health and well-being, anti-sex trafficking, and student safety and violence incident prevention. Staff will also engage in training related to health and safety topics.
Morning Session

Violence prevention training
The learning for educators will be led by principals and vice-principals within their schools. The material was developed by HWDSB staff in Human Resources, Equity and Well-Being, and Safe Schools.
