Nora Frances Henderson anticipates move into new building over Thanksgiving
Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers
We are excited to share more details, as promised, about the opening date for the new Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School.
In our last update, we explained that the province-wide pause on construction due to COVID-19 forced HWDSB to delay plans for a September opening.
We do not yet know which learning model our schools will be using this fall, but we are working toward a move into the new school during the Thanksgiving weekend.
To support a safe move, we anticipate using the following timeline:

| Wednesday, October 7 | Last day of student transportation to/from Palmer Road location. |
| Thursday, October 8 | Educators will support remote learning for students. |
| Friday, October 9 | Educators will support remote learning for students. |
| Weekend of Oct. 10-12 | Final deliveries of large items for move into new school. |
| Tuesday, October 13. | Educators will support remote learning for students.
Educators set up classrooms in new building. |
| Wednesday, October 14 | Students will begin at new building.
Student transportation to/from new site begins. |
