Elementary Students Experience a Learning Day in the Arts
Grades 7 and 8 students from Lake Avenue, Sir Wilfrid Laurier and W.H. Ballard visited the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts to do hands-on arts workshops with professional artists. Their inspiration was the Hamilton Children’s Charter of Rights, and they used four art forms (dance, drama, music and visual arts). The outing connected elementary students interested in the arts with schools offering a Specialist High Skills Majors in Arts and Culture.
