It is time for Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) to set new Strategic Directions that will identify future values, priorities and goals. Planning a new path forward starts with you!
Strategic planning is goal setting and goal mapping for a school board. A strategic plan must identify goals that are consistent with the organization’s overall vision.
We are interested in you and your experience, including how it feels to be a part of the HWDSB community, the future you envision for the school board, and anything else you would like to share with us.
We invite you to share this survey with your network of family, friends, and neighbours – and encourage members of the HWDSB communities to share their voice!

The survey is currently available and will be open until June 2. We welcome students, staff, families, and community members to share their valuable input and perspectives! We also encourage you to share the survey with your children if you consent for them to participate .

The survey is voluntary, anonymous, and confidential. We are collecting this information so that we understand who is taking part in the survey, and how different identities shape the experiences people have. Information collected through this survey will be used to inform the values and principles that will help guide the directions of the new multi-year strategic plan.
