Public Engagement Opportunity: Reimagining HWDSB Websites

HWDSB websites are often the first place families, students, and community go to find information, access tools, and stay connected to what’s happening in our schools and across the Board.

We are currently reviewing and refreshing both Board and school websites to make sure they are clear, easy to navigate, and accessible for everyone. As part of this work, we are inviting feedback from our community to help guide the next phase of website planning.

Why We’re Engaging

We want to better understand how our websites are being used today, what works well and where improvements can be made. Hearing from families, students, staff, and community will help us create websites that are more inclusive, easier to use, and more responsive to those we serve.

What We’re Hoping to Learn

Through this engagement, we’re seeking feedback on:

How to Participate

We invite you to share your ideas and experiences on EngageHWDSB, HWDSB’s online public engagement platform.

Share your feedback by January 23, 2026:
https://www.engagehwdsb.ca/reimagining-websites

Your input will help shape future updates to HWDSB Board and school websites.

What Comes Next

Feedback collected during this initial phase will be reviewed and used to guide website updates. We will share what we heard and how input is shaping next steps through EngageHWDSB.

Thank you for taking the time to participate and for helping us strengthen how HWDSB communicates and connects with our communities.
