March Break Message From The Director
Dear HWDSB Students, Families, and Community,
As we enter March Break, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to HWDSB’s students, staff, families, and community partners for your continued dedication and support throughout the 2025–2026 school year.

To HWDSB students, you bring incredible energy and curiosity to our schools, and we deeply appreciate the spirit you contribute every day. I hope this March Break gives you time to rest, recharge, and enjoy what makes you happiest.
Also, families and caregivers across HWDSB play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and well‑being. I am truly grateful for the encouragement and partnership you provide. Thank you for choosing HWDSB and standing alongside us throughout the school year.
The dedication and compassion shown by HWDSB’s staff continue to make a meaningful difference for students and families. We are especially appreciative of those working through the break. Thank you for your ongoing commitment and care, especially as we prepare for the return of students and staff on Monday, March 23.
The broader HWDSB community continues to strengthen our schools through your collaboration, trust, and support. We are grateful for the many ways you contribute to creating safe, welcoming, and inspiring spaces for students.
March Break is an opportunity to recharge and engage in activities that bring joy and balance. As we look ahead to the first day of spring on Friday, March 20, may this season of renewed energy remind us of the growth and possibilities that lie ahead.
Please take this time to care for yourselves and one another. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, March 23 refreshed and ready for the final months of school.
Wishing you a safe, restful, and enjoyable March Break.
With gratitude,
Sheryl Robinson Petrazzini
