Join the French as a Second Language Advisory Committee
The French as a Second Language (FASL) Advisory Committee helps shape French programming in HWDSB elementary and secondary schools, as well as Ministry and community supports that enhance the learning experience for students. HWDSB welcomes submissions from students, parents, guardians and caregivers with students in Core French or French Immersion.
The deadline for FASL Advisory Committee applications is Monday, October 6th at 9 a.m.
Those interested in joining the FASL Advisory Committee are asked to complete the linked form.
Space on the FASL Advisory Committee is limited. Successful candidates will be emailed by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8th. Committee members are asked to commit to three meetings over the course of the school year, with the meeting schedule being determined at the first meeting.
The first FASL Advisory Committee meeting for 2025-26 takes place virtually via Microsoft Teams. Email invitations will be sent to committee members.
