Director’s Annual Report – Now Available Online!
Dear HWDSB Community, 
I am pleased to share that the 2024-2025 Director’s Annual Report is now available online. This report highlights the collective work and accomplishments across HWDSB over the past school year.
Last Monday, I was thrilled to present the full Director’s Annual Report at the Board Meeting, and you can view the recording here.
The Director’s Annual Report demonstrates progress toward the five goals of our Board Improvement Plan. HWDSB students are making meaningful gains in achievement while engaging in positive learning experiences across literacy, numeracy, well-being, future preparedness, and engagement. This report reflects the collective efforts of staff, families, and the broader community in strengthening student learning and achievement, enhancing well-being, and fostering a strong sense of belonging for students across HWDSB.
This year’s report highlights the remarkable momentum we continue to build as a system. As I noted in the recent message to our community about our EQAO achievements, these outcomes are a direct reflection of the dedication, expertise, and care of our HWDSB staff—both inside and outside the classroom—who work tirelessly to support every student in reaching their potential.
I also want to sincerely thank families for choosing HWDSB and for partnering with us throughout your child’s K–12 journey. Your support and engagement play a critical role in helping students succeed.
I am proud to share our accomplishments and improvement with you, and I am deeply grateful for the ongoing commitment of our staff and families in making these results possible for every HWDSB student.
