
Summer provides a great opportunity to get back on track! HWDSB Continuing Education offers a Credit Recovery opportunity for HWDSB students with a final grade of less than 50% during the 2024-2025 or the 2023-2024 school years. Courses are delivered online with live support provided 2 hours per day via Teams. Students must be recommended by their school in order to apply.
Applications for the Summer 2025 Credit Recovery program open in June 2025. Please contact your school to apply.
Session 1 runs July 2-14, 2025. Deadline to apply for Session 1 is June 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
Session 2 runs July 15-25, 2025. Deadline to apply for Session 2 is July 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

Grade 9 and Grade 10 HWDSB students may recover up to two (2) credits by participating in both sessions of the Credit Recovery Program.

Eligible Students and How to Apply
Application to Credit Recovery will begin June 2 at your HWDSB High School – please ask at your school office to be referred to your school’s “Summer Credit Recovery Coordinator” for assistance.
HWDSB students who have failed or received an “I” in one of the available courses during the 2024-2025 and/or the 2023-2024 school years can apply. In order to participate, students must be currently registered in an HWDSB secondary school and recommended for Credit Recovery program by their Principal/Guidance Counsellor.
This program is open to HWDSB students only.
