Credit Prep Program

The Credit Preparation Program is designed to support students out of school for a long period who feel they are ALMOST ready to earn a high school credit but could benefit from refreshing their Academic Skills.

Credit Programs

Click link above for details on the various high school credit earning programs available through HWDSB Continuing Education. We offer programs during the day, in the evening or online, as well as a hybrid of both online and in class learning options.

PLAR Maturity Credits

PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition) is the formal evaluation and credit granting process whereby mature students may obtain credits for prior learning. This includes knowledge and skills that mature students have acquired in both formal and informal ways, outside of secondary school.
