| CE offers guidance to assist you on your path to earning a high school diploma, develop new skills for the workplace or prepare for a post-secondary pathway. | Adult learners all have different experience and education. Many students require support with improving their English (ESL) or their basic literacy and math skills (LBS) before they are ready for credit classes. | There are various high school credit earning programs available through Continuing Education HWDSB. We offer day, evening, online, co-op and a hybrid of online and in-class learning options. NOTE: ESL benchmark of Level 6 required. | PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition) allows students to achieve credits based on the skills and experience gained in formal and informal ways, outside of secondary school. NOTE: ESL benchmark of Level 6 required. |
