We offer Adult Day School Programs that will help you upgrade a mark, obtain credits for College or University or to complete your High School Diploma. These program are offered to Adult Learners, ages 18 and older who are not registered with a Secondary School and have achieved at least 16 credits.
The Adult Day School program provides a structured and disciplined learning environment, using the OSS curriculum. Adult Credit courses are offered during the day only. All credit courses are 110 hours of study as per Ministry of Education guidelines.
We offer Adult Day School Programs at:
Hill Park Learning Centre, 465 East 16th Street, Hamilton (on the Mountain near Mohawk Road and Upper Wentworth)
King William Learning Centre, 225 King William Street, 3rd Floor, Hamilton (downtown)
Adult Day School Courses are offered in six week sessions on a full or part time basis. Students take one course in the morning (8:30 am-11:45 pm) and/or afternoon (12:15-3:30 pm). Classes are teacher facilitated. Workplace, College and University (at Hill Park only) level courses are available.
For many students, two to four sessions of Adult Day School (4 – 8 senior credits) will fulfill the requirements for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Adults who require an additional credit to graduate, have the option to participate in our D2L Hybrid Night School Program.

- Session 1 – September 6, 2018 – October 26, 2018
- Session 2 – November 1, 2018 – December 21, 2018
- Session 3 – January 9, 2019 – February 28, 2019
- Session 4 – March 5, 2019 – April 30, 2019
- Session 5 – May 7, 2019 – June 26, 2019
The Registration Process
STEP #1 – If you haven’t been assessed, book your CREDIT ASSESSMENT today to learn how equivalency credits can help you complete your diploma faster
STEP #2 – INTAKE MEETING – Students sign up for their Intake Meeting (where you choose your courses and formally register for the program) by calling the Hill Park Learning Centre at 905-561-2190.

WHAT TO BRING TO THE INTAKE MEETING – All students are required to provide proof of their status in Canada (ex. Birth Certificate, Permanent Resident card) and Photo ID, a Credit Assessment report or their High School transcript.
