How to Apply - NON-HWDSB Students
Students from outside HWDSB will need to:
Step 1: REGISTER AS AN HWDSB STUDENT – do this now, by no later than June 11, 2025.
Step 2: Complete the Summer Skill Builder Program Application Form – Complete the form to select your programs – application closes at 8 a.m. on June 10.
Once your Program Application has been submitted, you’ll receive a copy of your responses.

Confirmations: Program requests are subject to Principal approval. Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel, combine and/or relocate programs based on registration and staffing. Confirmations and final program information will be sent to families, at the Parent email provided, in mid/late-June.
Eligibility
Students not enrolled in an Ontario publicly funded school during the 2023-2024 school year may attend, but a fee of $125 per week will apply, and student registration process will be required.
Students from other publicly funded school boards in Ontario are welcome to attend but will be required to complete the student registration process (by June 3).
Other Important Information
BEHAVIOUR: Students enrolled in Summer Programs should make every effort to complete both in class and homework assigned to them. Students must be respectful of their teachers, fellow classmates and all other program staff. Parents will be contacted by the teacher and / or Principal should there be any concerns. Students may be asked to leave the program if there are any concerns.
SUPPORT: There are no Special Education Resource Teachers available to assist with program modifications / accommodations. Every effort will be made by the teacher to support and enhance the learning of each student. Identified students with Individual Education plans are welcome to attend with the above understanding.
