2024-2025 Course Option Selection in XELLO – DATES & INSTRUCTIONS

The option selection process is live in XELLO on February 7th to March 1st. In this time frame students will be able to submit their course selections and lock them into the system as their choices. Students can find XELLO in the HUB, under the Guidance course.  https://home.hwdsb.on.ca/

Students must complete the XELLO portion online by clicking submit once they have made their selections.  Options must be reviewed and approved by a parent or guardian.   The deadline is March 1st.

Should a student wish to make a change after the fact they can do so during the verification process which occurs in April. Students are encouraged to make appointments with their guidance counsellor if they have questions about their course selections and pathways program. Parents are welcome to join in the meetings. Guidance counsellors are available for 15 minute, virtual appointments on Microsoft Teams. Please do so via the Booking app using your HWDSB school email.

The 2024-2025 options chart document, Rolling 2 Year Option Sheet 2024-25 can be used by students to get a glimpse of all courses being offered by Saltfleet. This is NOT the actual option sheet. Students are to use the Course Planner in XELLO to complete their option sheet. Option sheets will be open to submit online in XELLO beginning February 7th and ending March 1st. Please be sure to read all documents listed on this page for further instruction and assistance on completing your option sheet.
