OSSLT – Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test

Caregivers of students scheduled to write the OSSLT (literacy test) this spring should have received an email sharing that Saltfleet will be writing the test on April 13^th through the 18^th in the cafeteria and the library during period 1. Students are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the test (8:00AM) with their iPad fully charged.

Any student has been informed of this and has already participated in an information assembly as well as having received several emails containing test tips and a link to the practice test.  We have offered lunchtime tutoring to the students as well.  We would encourage you to chat with your student about the test and ask if they have practiced!  Below is a link to the practice test and attached is a letter outlining some test particulars that may answer any questions you have.  Please feel free to contact Mr. I.
