Upcoming Bomb Threat Drill-Monday December 4

On Monday December 4th, we will be practicing this year’s bomb threat drill in the afternoon at the start of period 5. This procedure is followed in the event that a bomb threat is received, an explosive device is reported or discovered, or an explosives incident takes place. During a bomb threat, students and school staff evacuate the school building using the same exits as they would during a fire drill.  In an actual bomb threat, we may be directed to evacuate the school campus to our nearest accessible safe locations (Gatestone Elementary School & Mount Albion School).  For the purposes of the drill, we will not be leaving campus, but instead classes will be rendezvousing at the same assembly point they would during a fire drill/alarm.  As always, during any emergency drill, students are also expected to follow the directions of their teachers.

Once again, in an effort to avoid creating any panic or anxiety, we will be having a bomb threat drill in the afternoon of  Monday December 4, during period 5.
