Saltfleet School materials – DROP OFF DATES/TIMES

Materials drop-off for Saltfleet students in Grades 9, 10 and 11 will take place on Friday, June 25 from 9-11 am and on Monday, June 28 from 12-2 pm. Students who are not returning to HWDSB in September should drop off all school materials (including iPads and charging cubes) to the school. Returning students who have textbooks, instruments, or other items to drop off may also do this during these times. Please bag and label your returning materials.  Please note that students who are returning to an HWDSB school in September should keep their iPads at home for the summer. Grade 12 students should bring materials to drop off to their graduation appointment. Grad appointments can be booked until Monday, June 21 at 12pm.

All curbside drop offs should follow the following protocols:

  1. Parent/Caregiver/Student drives up to curb.
  2. Leaving the windows rolled up, driver/passenger holds up a piece of paper with the student’s name on it.
  3. Driver opens the trunk, where the materials to be returned are located. Ensure items are bagged and labelled.
  4. Staff member retrieves the items from the trunk and closes the trunk.
  5. Driver drives off.

Any students/parents/caregivers who are walking up to the school should use the tables near the main entrance for a contactless drop off. All individuals accessing the walk up drop off must wear a mask while on school property and maintain at least 2 meters of physical distancing at all times.
