Rotation 2 – Preferred Learning Method

At Saltfleet High School, we are beginning to plan for Rotation 2 which runs from October 13th to November 10th. In this 2nd rotation, Period 2 classes will take place in the face-to-face morning block from 8:05-10:40 am.

Students will be placed into face-to-face or full remote learning according to the preference that was previously communicated to the school for Rotation 1. If you are choosing to continue with your current learning model, there is no need for further action.

At this time, students who chose full remote learning for Rotation 1 may elect to return to face-to-face learning in Rotation 2. If you wish to do this, a parent, guardian, or 18+ student must email a request to the appropriate guidance counsellor:

(Mr. Machado – last names A-H; Mr. Scocchia – last names I-P; Ms. Sandoval – last names Q-Z).

Requests to return to face-to-face learning will only be granted if space is available in a student’s existing timetable.

All requests must be received by the school no later than Tuesday, October 6. Please note that once a student chooses full remote learning, they must remain a fully remote learner for the entire rotation period.

Students may also elect to switch from face-to-face learning to full remote learning. If you wish to do this, a parent, guardian, or 18+ student must email a request to the appropriate guidance counsellor. Requests to change from face-to-face learning to remote learning will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
