iPad Drop off & Graduate sign pick up

This message is for ALL non-returning students of Saltfleet High School, including non-returning grade 12 graduates and any other students currently enrolled at Saltfleet that are not returning to an HWDSB school in the fall. As we come to the end of the 2019/2020 school year it is time to collect iPads and Devices from students.

We will be engaging in the collection of these devices during the final week of June. June 24th and 25th from 9-3. You will not be required to book an appointment for this process as previously conducted for building access for students. This set up will be similar to entry and exit systems at your local grocery stores with pre marked social distancing line up areas. Parents and students will only access drop off tables and bins and will not be permitted to travel within the building

If you are a non-returning student and need to take part in this process, please follow these instructions:

• Families are asked to place device in a plastic bag with the cable and cube

• Any other board material to be returned should also be placed in a plastic bag

• Label the bag or bags with the student’s full name written directly on the bag

• One person is to walk up to the designated table outside of the school and place the items in the bin labeled – “drop-off iPads” or “drop-off Other”

• Once the device or material has been placed in the bin the person delivering will be free to leave and the school will record the delivery

• Please Note: If someone is in the process of dropping off a device, please wait in line in the marked area with at least 2m of distance from others and wait until the area is clear before proceeding to the bin

• Grade 12s ONLY – if a student is graduating, they will also pick up a t-shirt and a sign on the same day – a little something from the Salfleet staff to CELEBRATE them until we are able to have the graduation ceremony.
