Online
HWDSB Continuing Education is offering a Credit Recovery opportunity for HWDSB students recommended by their home school. Credit Recovery is available to students who had a final grade of less than 50% during the 2024-2025 or the 2025-2026 school years in a Grade 9 or 10 compulsory course. Students can recover one or two credits. Available to HWDSB students only. Session 1 runs July 2-15, 2026 |

| Focus on Youth | Students aged 16-21 as of July 2, 2026 | In-person
Focus on Youth is a summer work program for HWDSB students. Following a successful interview, students who are offered positions within the program are placed with a community-partnered organization for summer employment. AS OF SUMMER 2025! Focus on Youth participants are eligible to receive 2 Co-op credits. July 6-August 21, 2026 |

| Summer Learning Strategies Courses | Students in Grades 8-12 (with Individual Education Plans) |
Online or in-person
Summer Learning Strategies program helps students become stronger, more independent learners. Students will learn how to develop and apply literacy and numeracy skills, personal management skills, and interpersonal and teamwork skills to narrow learning gaps and improve their learning and achievement in school, the workplace, and the community. Please contact your student’s Principal or Guidance Counsellor to register. July 2-29, 2026 |
