Call for parents and students- Human Rights and Equity Community Advisory Committee

HWDSB is seeking applications from students and parents to join the Human Rights and Equity (HRE) Community Advisory Committee.

We are looking for members who are secondary students (3 positions) and parents/guardians/caregivers (2 positions).

The deadline for application is October 4th.

The HRE Community Advisory Committee provides advice, input and feedback using human rights, anti-racist and anti-oppressive approaches to support HWDSB’s commitment in identifying and addressing inequities in the education system and to create learning and working environment that are inclusive, equitable and welcoming.
