(for current Secondary School and Adult students)  REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MAY 1st.

Continuing Education is pleased to offer a limited selection of Full Credit courses through our Summer School Program. Courses will be starting on July 5th and ending on July 28, 2022.  Deadline for registration is June 30, 2022 at 2 p.m.

Summer School Program

Dates:  July 5 to 28, 2022
Location:  Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School
Times:  8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , Monday to Friday
Finals: Final submission dates for all course work and projects will be July 27th

How to Register - HWDSB Students including Adults currently active in Continuing Education Credit Programs

Please complete the REGISTRATION form: CLICK HERE – OPENS May 1st (you must be signed in using your @hwdsb.on.ca account to access/submit the form)

If you have any questions or concerns about your course selection, prerequisites or pathway, please contact your Guidance Counsellor.  Once your registration has been submitted, you’ll receive a copy of your responses. Your Guidance Counsellor will review and validate your course selection – if they have any concerns they will update your course selection and contact you.

Deadline for registration is June 30, 2022 at 2 p.m.

How to Register - Recently left HWDSB Secondary School or Continuing Education

Students who attended Secondary School or Continuing Education programs in the last five years:

Step 1: REGISTER AS AN HWDSB STUDENT – do this now!

Step 2: Receive your reactivated HWDSB User Name and Password – check your personal email for an automated message

Step 3: Please complete the REGISTRATION form: CLICK HERE – OPENS May 1st  (you must be signed in using your @hwdsb.on.ca account to access/submit the form)

If you have any questions or concerns about your course selection, prerequisites or pathway, please book Guidance Meeting with our Counsellor to register for Credit/Summer programs instead – BOOK NOW!

How to Register - NON-HWDSB Students

Secondary School Students from outside HWDSB will need to:

Step 1: REGISTER AS AN HWDSB STUDENT – do this now!

Step 2: Receive your HWDSB User Name and Password – check your personal email for an automated message

Step 3: Complete the Summer School Registration Form – CLICK HERE – OPENS May 1st  (you must be signed in using your @hwdsb.on.ca account to access/submit the form)

Step 4: Your Guidance Counsellor will automatically be sent an email to approve your request

How to Register - Adult Students new to HWDSB

Adults not currently enrolled in an HWDSB Adult Credit Program should:

Step 1: REGISTER AS AN HWDSB STUDENT – do this now!

Step 2: Receive your HWDSB User Name and Password – check your personal email for an automated message

Step 3: Book Guidance Meeting with our Counsellor to register for Credit/Summer programs – BOOK NOW!

Important Dates and Information

Registration Deadline: Deadline for registration is June 30, 2022 at 2 p.m.

Final Submission date
Summer On-Line Learning – Final submission dates for all course work and quizzes will be July 28th for Full Credit and Careers and July 15th for Civics.

Final Reports
Final reports will be provided to students by their teachers on July 28th.  Final reports will be sent to students’ home schools.

Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel or relocate classes or programs – any Summer School students whose Summer School course is cancelled will be automatically moved the our Summer School On-Line Program.  Affected students would be contacted by email in the event that their course/program is cancelled and that they have been moved.  Students are limited to choose ONE Summer Credit program each year.
