Threats Made to Safety of Students and Staff at Ancaster High School

On Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, shortly after 12:30 p.m. the Hamilton Police Service received information that a threat had been made towards the staff and students of Ancaster High School.

Students and staff were evacuated to a safe location; Morgan Firestone Arena located at 385 Jerseyville Road West. Police resources were on the scene and investigated.

      Watch: Just One Wish Kindness Awards
      The third annual Just One Wish Kindness Awards were held on July 1, 2017 in Gage Park during the It's Your Festival celebrations for Canada's 150th birthday. Organizers honoured 151 children (150 for Canada's birthday and one for good luck), age 4 to 18, from across HWDSB for their kindness. These children exemplify what is means to be Canadian and what Canada is all about. Congratulations to all!
