The ART DEPARTMENT offers a wide range of courses in which you’ll learn techniques in a variety of media and look at a lot of art, both historical and contemporary. The main emphasis, however, in every course, is: expressing yourself and making art!
Course Offerings
The programme in Grades 9 & 10 consists of comprehensive studies. That means drawing, painting, printmaking & sculpture, in addition to art theory & history. These courses are offered at the open level. In grades 11 & 12 focus courses specializing in the disciplines of pottery, design, digital media, and drawing & painting are offered, as well as senior comprehensive courses. These senior are all ‘M’ courses ~ University / College preparation.
