Adult Online Night School

Our Adult Online Night School program combines online delivery with available tutoring.

  • 2025-2026 Adult Online Night School Course List is coming soon.
  • Registration for the last session closes May 15, 2026.
  • Tutoring assistance is available in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for Math and Science courses starting September 16, 2025 through June 11, 2026.
  • Programs run September 15, 2025 to June 25, 2026.
  • June 15th, 2026 is the last day to submit assignments.  June 23, 2026 is the last day for final exams.
  • Lesson 20 of each course will be a final exam or assessment worth 25% of the final mark .
  • Final Exams will be written at Hill Park Learning Centre during tutoring hours.  Please arrive by 6:30 p.m. to give yourself adequate time.
  • Courses MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR.  Carry-over to future years is not permitted.
  • The Adult Online Night School program is open to adults (18+ years old) not currently registered in a secondary school.
    • Exception:  Grade 12 (4th year) HWDSB students who have a full course load at their HWDSB secondary school but require an additional course to graduate may participate in this program.

Register with HWDSB and choose your AONS course (NEW and/or inactive HWDSB Continuing Education students)

NEW and/or inactive HWDSB Continuing Education students will need to complete 2 steps to get started:

STEP 1:  Registration eFORM

STEP 2:  Once registration is complete, an appointment link will be emailed to you to book a meeting with a Guidance Counsellor, as well as instructions to choose your course(s).

Accessing your Course

Once you are registered for a course, you can access the course by logging into the HWDSB student portal and clicking on “The HUB.”

Orientation and Tutoring

NEW SCHEDULE for our Tuesday and Thursday Adult Online Night School support periods:

5:30-6:00 p.m. – Orientation

6:00-9:00 p.m. – Drop-in in-person or online for Math and Sciences tutoring in Room 2049.  All tutoring is in-person at Hill Park Learning Centre, 465 East 16th Street, Hamilton, Ontario

Exams

Your teacher must provide advance approval for you to write an exam.  If you have not received an email, please contact your teacher. 

When you are ready to write your exam, make a booking to let us know you are coming.  Book at least 2 hours in advance.

Exam writing is in-person at Hill Park Learning Centre (room 2046, 465 East 16th Street, Hamilton, Ontario) on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Please arrive for 6:15 p.m. to check in and to give you enough time to complete your exam.
