The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test will be written in the 2022-23 school year–there are two writing sessions (fall 2022 and spring 2023).
Grade 11 and 12 students will be informed as to their status by the end of February. Students can use the following resources to help with their preparation for the OSSLT:
Grade 10 students writing for the first time will write in the spring–the dates are set for March 30 and March 31. Literacy test preparation will take place in grade 10 classrooms. Please see the Learning Commons HUB page for the interactive literacy lessons.
Literacy support lessons will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch with Ms. O’Hanlon; more information and registration forms will be available soon.
Students observing Ramadan can arrange to write the OSSLT on April 24th & 25th.
Grade 11 & 12 students who have not passed the Literacy Test or fulfilled the requirement through the Literacy Course will write on April 24th & 25th.
