Threats Made to Safety of Students and Staff at Ancaster High School

On Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, shortly after 12:30 p.m. the Hamilton Police Service received information that a threat had been made towards the staff and students of Ancaster High School.

Students and staff were evacuated to a safe location; Morgan Firestone Arena located at 385 Jerseyville Road West. Police resources were on the scene and investigated.

The Hamilton Police Service cleared Ancaster High School at approximately 2:00 p.m. Police will continue to investigate.

The remaining students at Morgan Firestone returned to the school and they were dismissed at the usual time.
