Notice to Glendale Families

Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,

Glendale Secondary School staff became aware of concerning and potentially threatening comments posted online. Following our Safe Schools protocol, school administration took immediate action including contacting Hamilton Police Service.

Hamilton Police Service determined that there was no threat to the school.

Incidents such as these are taken very seriously. We continue to work with our school community to ensure students understand the impact these types of comments have on individuals and the overall school climate.

We want you to know that student safety is of the utmost importance at Glendale Secondary School. We thank Hamilton Police for their support.
