Blood Relations – Performances Dec 2, 4 & 5

Glendale Arts Senior Drama presents Blood Relations, Sharon Pollock’s award-winning psychological mystery that revisits the infamous Lizzie Borden murders of 1892. Ten years after her acquittal, the real Lizzie and her friend, the Actress, play a “game” of memory and imagination to explore the events leading up to that grisly day. This fascinating and theatrical twist on a historical whodunit delves into themes of identity, truth, and the desperation that can drive an individual to a horrific act of violence. The play challenges the audience to confront their own prejudices and ponder the chilling question: “Did you, Lizzie? Lizzie, did you?”.

Audience Advisory: This production contains mature themes, including family dysfunction and psychological distress. It also includes strong references to violence and murder, as well as some distressing content such as sudden loud noises and atmospheric effects. Recommended for ages 13+. Parental discretion is strongly advised for younger viewers.

Tickets are now available on School Cash Online for $15 each. Please join us on December 2, 4 or 5th. Performances will begin at 7:00. We look forward to seeing you there!
