Wismer Award for High School Coaching Excellence
The Wismer Award for High School Coaching Excellence was established in 2004 in co-operation with Hamilton- Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) and Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board (HWCDSB). This award recognizes coaches who make significant contributions to the growth and continuing development of students and athletes.
Calling all nominations for The Wismer Award for High School Coaching Excellence 2023-2024! There are so many coaches who dedicate hours and expertise to HWDSB Student Athletes – anyone can nominate any Staff OR Community Coach of an HWDSB Secondary Team.

Tell us who your amazing coach is, their impact on students, number of years dedicated and your school could receive a monetary prize to support Athletics! Deadline for nominations is Friday November 1, 2024.
