SOSSA qualification for Zone 1 will take place on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Southbrook Golf & Country Club.

• Tee times begin at 11:40am
• Entry Fee: $50.00
• Coaches are to forward entries & eligibility rosters to convenor no later than Wednesday September 22 by 3:00pm (ranked 1 to 5)
• SOSSA will take place on Monday October 3

Each school is permitted to send a team of up to 5 boys and 5 girls.  The top 4 scores will count toward a team score.  Schools playing with less than 4 golfers can have their athletes compete as individuals.  The top 3 team scores, as well as the top 3 scores from the rest of the field that are not on an already advancing team, will qualify for SOSSA (all players advancing must have a score of under 105 for boys, and 120 for girls).

Other considerations:

• Proper golf attire must be worn
• While increased participation is always a wish of this event, coaches should be vigilant to ensure that players attending the tournament have played the game and can shoot a reasonably competitive score.
• It is best to hold a formal tryout for this team.
