At least one coach from each school (per team) is required to take the two online course in preparation for their season. Preferably the Head Coach should take these courses unless there is an outside volunteer coach – then the Teacher Supervisor / Liaison must take these course in their place. It is recommended that all HWDSB staff who serve as coaches take the Introduction to Coaching Course regardless of their position on the team.
