The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board celebrates the 2019-20 season with a lookback at the year that was and honours this year’s most valuable players.

BASEBALL: Ancaster Reigns in 2019

The Ancaster Royals repeated as baseball champions in 2019 earning a 4-2 victory over the Westmount Wildcats at Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium on October 21, 2019. Ancaster went undefeated in league play claiming a perfect 6-0 record with one unplayed game due to weather against Orchard Park. In the championship, the Ancaster team used solid pitching and good defensive play to collect the school’s second straight championship. It also marked the sixth time in seven seasons that Ancaster has played for the championship having won three of them.  Click to review this year’s season with results & standings.
