Featured Athlete of the Week – Sarah Simon – Sherwood

Meet Sarah Simon –  it’s hard to find her because she is one busy young lady.  Sarah is a triple threat at Sherwood – field hockey, volleyball and soccer.  She is heading to Florida for the Disney Showcase Field Hockey Tournament in January.  In her spare time she is a member of Student Council and the Sherwood Repertoire Band. Outside of school she sails and also plays rep field hockey, and when she is not doing that she is in cadets. Last time we checked there were only 24 hours in a day but Sarah manages to fill them all.  On top of all this she is a truly amazing young lady, always with a smile on her face and ready to help with anything you need.  She is the true definition of a well -rounded student athlete. Did we mention that Sarah is only in Grade 10!! Sherwood will get to keep her for a few more years and we can’t wait to see what else she can accomplish.  Congratulations Sarah!
