OP lands on top for grade 9 boys touch football crown

HAMILTON (September 25, 2017) –  The Orchard Park Patriots earned an 18-0  win over the Sir Allan MacNab Lions to collect their first ever title in grade 9 boys touch football title on Monday at Mohawk Sports Park.

Orchard Park posted a perfect 4-0 record in pool play defeating Sherwood (21-0), Glendale (18-6) Saltfleet (20-0) and Delta.  That record pitted them against Waterdown who they handled 18-7 before setting up the decisive 18-0 final game versus Sir Allan MacNab.

Sir Allan MacNab was undefeated heading into the championship, posting wins over Westmount (20-0), Waterdown (7-6) Sir John A. Macdonald (7-0) and their record also included a 6-6 tie against Dundas Valley.
