Featured Athlete of the Week – Emily Gondar – Orchard Park

Emily Gondar, a grade 11 student at Orchard Park is one of our  outstanding athletes!

Emily has been a tremendous asset to any team she has played on.  This year she was the quarterback on the 2^nd place  girl’s touch football team.  Emily won the City Tennis Championship for girls singles and is a member of the senior girls volleyball and track and field teams.  Many coaches have commented that she is a “coach’s dream”… extremely coachable, reliable, athletic, a role model to many on and off the field and a player you can always count on!  Emily gives nothing less than 100% and she leads by example.  Her positive attitude, good nature  and competitive edge make her a valuable contributor to every team she plays on.  Emily is someone that many of our junior athletes can look up to.  Congratulations Emily on being Orchard Park’s “featured” female athlete.
