Pathways to Transition event for students with special education needs preparing for life after high school
The Community Transition Network (CTN), of which HWDSB is a part, is pleased to announce the
upcoming annual “Pathways to Transition” event – designed for parents, guardians, and students with
special needs aged 14-21 who are preparing for life after high school.
The year’s event will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 6:00-8:30 pm at Nora Frances
Henderson Secondary School.
Pathways to Transition provides an opportunity for attendees to connect with representatives from over
40 local organizations offering various supports, advocacy, continuing education, employment, funding,
recreation, respite, and more. Additionally, separate 30-minute sessions will be conducted by
Developmental Services Ontario, Ontario Disability Support Program, and Accessible Transportation
