Hold & Secure at Westdale

Dear students and families,

This communication is to inform you that Westdale went into a Hold and Secure response today.

Administrators responded to an altercation outside the school. Hamilton Police Service were called. As a precaution, staff placed the school into a Hold and Secure.

A Hold and Secure response is used for a safety situation in the neighbourhood. Students and staff remained safe.

We thank our students and staff for their co-operation during today’s response. You can learn more in the HWDSB Secure Schools Protocol.
