ATC2O1 – Dance, Grade 10, Open
In this course students develop their dance skills and learn the theoretical basis for communicating through movement. Students will not only learn about the historical development of dance and other theoretical frameworks, they will also create movement and choreography combinations. Students will reflect on and analyze their current practice and also develop an aesthetic appreciation of dance by participating in dance class, rehearsals and performance.
ATC3O1 – Dance, Grade 11, Open
In this course students will further develop and refine their dance training. Written assignments include the study of influential choreographers and cultural dance styles. Students will create more complex movement and choreography combinations and continue to reflect on and analyze their current practice by participating in dance class, rehearsals and performance.
