Water Fixture Being Returned to Service

Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers

Water testing for lead results continue to be received for our school. The water testing is in accordance with the provincial regulations (O.Reg 243/07). A message home to parents in August, explained that a water fixture had been removed from service until the levels could be reduced.

We are pleased to let you know that we have re-sampled the water fixture twice and both times the results have came back below the limit.

We have consulted with Public Health and are now able to return the fixture to service.

We will continue with daily flushing of all drinking water fixtures at Sherwood.
