Course Selection Opens March 2nd 2026 and closes March 23rd 2026

Starting March 2nd until March 23rd 2026, Course Selection for the 2026-2027 school year will be open on My Blueprint (accessible to students via their student Home Page and the Guidance Hub). The submit their choices by going to MyBluePrint: High School and then adding courses to their plan. At this time, Summer School registration will also open in the Continuing Education section.
On the right hand side of the screen of your High School Planner, you should be able to browse Graduation Requirements by clicking on the blue button labeled “view progress.” If a student inputs courses for all 30 required credits, they are also able to view Pathway Eligibility and access all College/Apprenticeship/Workplace/University programs in the province that their courses make them eligible for.
During the weeks of March 2nd and March 9th, Guidance Counsellors will be going into every period 2 class to discuss pathways, programs, and course selection with students. If a student has a spare or eLearning during period 2, they are encouraged to book an appointment with the Guidance Counselor to discuss these items.
**New this year: If you do not select an eLearning course during course options between March 2nd and March 23rd in 2026, you will NOT be able to move/switch into an eLearning class in September for the 2026/2027 school year. If you are considering eLearning, please make sure to choose it during course selection time.**
Some important notes to remember during course selection:
  1. MyBlueprint offers course descriptions and prerequisites – if a student does not have the prerequisite required for a course, there will be a red exclamation mark when they select it.
  2. Students are encouraged to browse the entire course catalogue and search key words that match their interests.
  3. Book a Guidance Appointment to go through course selection one on one with a counsellor.
  4. If you submit, you will be unable to change your selections, and must connect with your Guidance Counselor to re-open your selections.
  5. Please ensure you pick alternates you are interested in, as we often use alternates – especially in senior grades
Please reach out to your assigned Guidance Counsellor with any questions:
